WCOB Company Visits

One of the stellar opportunities available to MBA students in the WCOB through the Career Development Center is travel to companies and meeting with these potential employers face to face. I was privileged this semester to be able to travel with Heather Sprandel to both Walmart and J.B. Hunt in NWA and interact with executives in the Compliance Department at Walmart and Integrated Capacity Solutions at J.B. Hunt. I learned so much about two companies that have literally been in my backyard my whole life. I was also able to make contacts who I have corresponded with and plan to stay in touch with as I continue my career search between now and graduation as well as beyond. Other groups have also traveled to Coffeyville, KS to visit Amazon and Chicago to visit United and Saatchi & Saatchi X. I'm very grateful to have been given this opportunity, and I recommend taking advantage of these programs and the many others offered through the MBA, WCOB, and the Career Development Center!
